AP Specialist
Denver, CO Temporary $24.00 - $29.00/hr Onsite

Job Description

Ledgent is currently partnering with a firm located in downtown Denver on a long-term contract need for an AP Specialist. This position will be primarily remote, but will require travel to downtown Denver 1/week.

Accounts Payable Specialist duties include:

  • Invoice Support:

    • Process and analyze invoices in the E-invoice Open Invoice workflow, including coding and routing.
    • Provide ongoing support to internal and external stakeholders using the workflow system.
  • Invoice and Payment Processing:

    • Manage invoices received via email and payment requests submitted through the SharePoint workflow.
    • Import invoices into Open Invoice and scan documents into ABBYY software.
  • Vendor Onboarding:

    • Collaborate with suppliers to collect required information for vendor setup.
    • Prepare and process vendor forms in the SharePoint workflow system.
  • Support for Inquiries:

    • Monitor and analyze incoming email inquiries to identify potential fraud.
    • Respond to support inquiries via email and through a help desk ticketing system.
  • Accounting Support:

    • Maintain and update Excel accounting worksheets using basic to intermediate formulas.
    • Assist in creating and managing accounting templates for operational efficiency.
  • Reconciliation:

    • Perform vendor account reconciliations and manage debit balances.
  • General Duties:

    • Complete additional responsibilities as assigned.

The ideal Accounts Payable Specialist will possess:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 4+ years of accounts payable experience
  • Oil and gas industry experience preferred
  • At least intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Familiarity with SAP and Open Invoice preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail
